The poster was torn in half vertically above the "I" in "AMERICA," and professional restoration was performed causing the tear to be hardly noticeable now; there's a very well restored, long vertical tear starting at the top edge and descending through the "P" of "U," and down into the flag on the woman's lap; colors have faded slightly over time; there is edge and corner wear, tears, and restored losses; despite its defects, this iconic and extremely rare American WWI propaganda poster should display very nicely once framed.
