The linen has been trimmed to the margins; there is surface toning/soiling as well as some restored losses in the white margins; there is a 5" vertical tear at the top edge descending into the "N" of "N;" the poster was previously matted and framed and there is a 1" area along the border where the poster is whiter due to being covered by matting; this rare and wonderful 1930s American railroad travel poster should display very nicely once framed.
