There is restored edge and corner wear, small tears, and loss at the top right corner; some surface smudges in the sky area; this fabulous midcentury poster should display beautifully once framed.
This lush United Air Lines poster shows a fly fisherman wading a clear mountain stream, framed by towering evergreens and golden autumn trees, with a snow-capped peak rising behind. A United airliner flies overhead in a bright blue sky. Its rich, painterly colors and outdoor-adventure theme make it a classic of golden-age airline advertising, appealing to collectors of travel posters, fishing art and Pacific Northwest memorabilia.
