A weathered wooden sea-captain figure takes a reading with a sextant against red barn boards. Around him are a carved fish weathervane, a brass compass, a harpoon and coiled rope. It's part of Galli's celebrated United destination series, and it captures New England's maritime folk-art heritage in rich, painterly detail.
