There is a 2"diagonal scratch near the rear of the animal; other than this, the poster is in near mint condition with no noticeable defects and should display beautifully once framed.
A bold and characterful poster built around a carabao, the Philippine water buffalo and national animal. The animal is drawn with real wit and personality, a tiny outline figure of a Filipino farmer with a salakot hat providing scale in the background. A Qantas jet silhouette crosses the upper right corner.
One of the more inventive designs in the Qantas series. The carabao subject makes it a distinctive piece within the Southeast Asian travel poster category.
