There is minor edge and corner wear, small tears, creasing, and restored loss at the top right edge area; some surface scuffing/toning in the bottom right eighth of the poster; the poster was printed with bright day glo ink and the colors really popped when viewed in person; this fabulous midcentury airline travel poster featuring the Lockheed "Connie" should display beautifully once framed.

Original TWA poster by David Klein, whose campaign for the airline ran from the mid 1950s through the 1960s. The Museum of Modern Art holds his 1956 New York poster from the same series.

In this stunning poster, a woman is split down the middle, one half in evening dress against black with casino motifs, the other in a swimsuit against yellow with a sun and palm tree, lettered Las Vegas Fly TWA

This is the early printing. The aircraft is a Lockheed Constellation, the piston airliner TWA flew until Boeing 707 service began in 1959, after which the design was reissued with a jet.
