The linen is trimmed almost to the margins but not into them; there is some soft creasing in image and a large crease in the bottom left corner area; the poster should display beautifully once framed.
A lively and well-designed French brewery poster promoting four Excelsior varieties, Perle, Bock, Saphir, and '51,' with each bottle orbiting a large graphic "4" on colorful swooping ribbons. The composition has real energy and the printing quality is strong. A cheerful piece of postwar French commercial art from one of the north's major brewing houses.
