There is restored edge and corner wear, tears, creasing, crinkling, small losses; the damage is most noticeable along the vertical edges but the image area is clean is fresh; this wonderful airline travel poster should display very nicely once framed.
A stained-glass window frames Prague's landmarks: the Castle, Týn Church, St. Nicholas, and the Astronomical Clock. A CSA jet floats through the center panel where the sky opens up, neatly collapsing the medieval and the modern into a single image.
Eastern Bloc airline posters of this period occupy an interesting design space; state-commissioned work that nonetheless absorbed Western modernist influences while retaining something distinctly its own.
