There are some expertly restored small losses in the image; some restored edge and corner tears and small losses; some surface scratches and scuffs; this wonderful Qantas poster should display beautifully once framed.
This poster is from the Qantas' celebrated series promoting its round-the-world routes. A moose is rendered in a bold, fragmented style drawing on cubist and Indigenous design influences, its body built from interlocking geometric planes of green, amber, and brown. A line-drawn totem pole and mountain range occupy the background, alongside the now-familiar jet silhouette at top. One of the stronger entries in the Qantas destination series, balancing graphic invention with a genuine sense of place.
