This poster served as an invitation to Kokoon's Bal Artistique party held in 1935. The bottom line was left blank when printed and then filled in with the invitee's name, in this case, Mr. C. Heydriek Walker. We also have another copy of this poster with the same invitee's name written in the blank area, although in printed handwriting; we're unsure if one or both invitations were ultimately given to Walker.
The poster has been folded several times vertically and horizontally, including several extra fold lines in the bottom right quadrant; this gorgeous poster should display beautifully once framed.
