There is restored edge and corner wear and losses; corner tack holes; there is a 2" x 1" area of restored loss along the top edge near the left corner; margin toning; this humorous midcentury modern airline travel poster should display very nicely once framed.
Air-India's Rome poster featuring the Maharajah in monk's robes swinging from a bell rope while a fellow friar hangs on below and a great bronze bell looms behind them. The airline's mascot, created by Bobby Kooka in 1946, turned up in character wherever Air-India flew, and the destination posters from these years are the most collected of the series.
