There are two restored registration punch holes in the top margin; minor edge and corner wear; some surface smudges/abrasions; two restored circular losses in the bottom margin; ink lines in and around the "NG" of "QUITTING;" this wonderful motivational poster should display very nicely once framed.
The message of this poster is characteristically blunt: "How you finish the job, how you finish the day's work tells the observer whether you want to win or whether you're 'just putting in time.'" The yellow footer delivers the punchline: "Never quit before quitting time." The use of sport as a metaphor for workplace effort was a recurring device in the Mather series, and this is one of its more graphically confident examples.
