The poster has some professional touch-up in the bottom left and right white corner areas to address staining; some faint staining can still be viewed up close; despite its defects, this poster will display beautifully once framed.
Canadian Pacific built the Chateau Lake Louise in the 1890s to draw tourists westward along their railway, and spent the following decades producing some of the finest destination posters in North America to fill it. This is one of them; photographic, understated, and barely needing to try. Lake Louise genuinely looks like this.
