The poster is in near mint condition with just some very minor edge wear and tiny tears; some toning and scratches along the extreme outer edges; poster should display wonderfully once framed.
This Museum of Modern Art poster reproduces Drowning Girl (1963), Roy Lichtenstein's iconic Pop Art painting from MoMA's collection. A tearful, blue-haired heroine sinks beneath stylized comic-book waves. It's rendered in Lichtenstein's signature Ben-Day dots, bold black outlines and speech-bubble drama. It's one of the most recognizable images of 20th-century art, and it will suit fans of Pop Art, comics and modern design.
