A standout piece of mid-century graphic design promoting Lufthansa's transatlantic service aboard the iconic Lockheed Super-G Constellation, this wonderful poster blends landmarks from both New York and Paris, including the Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and Manhattan skyscrapers, into a witty, Cubist-inspired collage. Two stylized figures flank the scene: a Native American representing the New World and a pipe-smoking Frenchman representing Paris.
