The Marina City corncob towers anchor the composition, which means this poster can't predate their completion in 1964 and gives a solid earliest date for the printing.
The aerial vantage point looking down the river turns the city into an abstract arrangement of shapes and light rather than a postcard view, with that orange sun doing a lot of work to unify the palette across sky, river, and pavement.
