Two traditional Thai classical dancers in elaborate costumes and jeweled headdresses move against a loose, painterly background of temple spires. The illustration has an almost folk art quality by being gestural, warm, and full of personality. The rich orange and green palette and the joyful energy of the figures make it one of the more charming examples of Air-India's 1960s destination poster series, which consistently favored painterly illustration over the slicker graphic style of Western carriers.
