The linen has been trimmed to the margins and very slightly into them in some places; two restored punch holes on the top edge; restored edge and corner wear and small tears; small line of loss next to the man's hand; some surface smudges/small stains/abrasions.
A woman in a violet cloche examines beads offered against the mesas of the high desert, under a sage-green sky. This is the Southwest as the railroads sold it in 1932. The Willmarths work in flat Deco color and one long canyon diagonal, carrying the eye from the display lettering down to the pottery in the sand. Linen backed, strong unfaded color, excellent presentation.
