There is restored edge and corner wear, tears, creasing, crinkling, loss; restored corner tack holes; creasing in white areas but not in image; some surface abrasions, scratches, paper loss in white areas; a few areas of small restoration in image; poster should display rather nicely once framed.

A richly illustrated Pan American Airways poster promoting flights to Quito, Ecuador. Three figures in traditional Andean dress occupy the foreground, one playing pan pipes, while the city spreads across the valley below, framed by snow-capped mountains. A propeller aircraft bearing the Pan Am livery passes overhead. Painted by Paul Lawler, the work has the warm, layered quality of illustration from the pre-jet era of international travel.
