There is restored minor edge and corner wear, small tears, creasing, and small losses; there are surface scuffs, creases, and abrasions, which is typical of silkscreen posters that have been previously handled; there is what appears to be excess ink applied when the poster was printed in and around the text of "PETER PAN;" there are some dark blue horizontal bands, most likely occurring when the poster was printed; this very rare Disneyland attraction poster should display very nicely once framed.
This vintage Disneyland attraction poster advertises Fantasyland’s “Peter Pan’s Flight.” Peter Pan’s golden pirate ship, with pink-and-white striped sails, flies Wendy and her brothers across a deep blue starry sky. A trail of pixie dust drifts behind it, and Big Ben glows in the corner. The text also promotes the Snow White and Mr. Toad rides, and the poster carries a Walt Disney Productions copyright. Its bold, flat colors reflect the early silkscreen style of Disneyland’s original attraction posters, and it’s a favorite with Disneyana and mid-century design collectors.
